PASA Journal

PASA (Publications of the Astronomical Society of Australia) is an ISI-listed, fully-refereed journal for new and significant research in astronomy and astrophysics. With a strongly international author base, PASA covers a wide range of fields within astronomy. These include multi-wavelength observation, theoretical modelling, data processing and, particularly, southern hemisphere astronomy and astronomy with Australian instruments.

PASA publishes research papers, review papers and refereed conference proceedings, making use of expert reviewers from a wide range of countries. As an electronic journal, PASA publishes paper by paper, ensuring a rapid publication rate. All papers are archived at the NASA ADS archive. There are no pages charges.

PASA's Editorial Board approve a certain number of papers from ASA members to be published Open Access without a publication fee.

PASA is published by CSIRO PUBLISHING on behalf of the Astronomical Society of Australia (ASA).
